Choosing Acceptance

Who are you? text vertically along a photo of a woman standing on a beach looking skywards with the text journaling prompts for uncovering who you are below

By choosing acceptance you aren’t locking yourself into the life you have now.

It doesn’t mean staying as you are.

It doesn’t mean your life has to stay as it is.

Because acceptance isn’t about stagnating or no longer evolving as a human being.

When you choose to accept this moment you don’t lose all ambition and desire to be, do, and have more.

That’s not what it means to live in acceptance, to accept this moment.

And accepting this moment is a must if you’re going to fully love your life and be your most abundant, highest-vibe self. Not to mention experiencing peace is impossible if you refuse to accept the moment.

Acceptance of this moment isn’t about staying where you are. Rather it’s the cessation of the battle against where you are.

Making the decision to accept this moment is not you sitting there saying “this is where I am, it is what it is” while simultaneously bitching and moaning about where you are.

That’s not acceptance.

That’s fighting with reality.

Acceptance is when you can say “this is where I am, it may not be where I wanted to be at this point in my life, but I’m exactly where I’m meant to be and things are exactly as they were meant to be for me to evolve.”

When you’re in acceptance you’re in deep gratitude for everything that is while simultaneously envisioning where you want to be and moving toward it.

Acceptance brings with it an energy of positive expectancy, of hope, of peace.

You’re no longer arguing with how your life is.

There may be things about it that you don’t like but you aren’t arguing that they shouldn’t exist.

Instead, you’re at peace with what is while working toward creating something even better.

Acceptance ends that battle against what is that keeps you from being at peace.

It doesn’t stop you from moving forward toward a brighter, more abundant, more joyful future. It helps you do so because your energy stops being consumed by a useless war against reality.

If you can choose to accept this moment exactly as it is, exactly as you are then you can free yourself to move into the next evolution of you, into the vision you have for your life.

Remember, you absolutely can Love Your Life and Live Your Dreams. It all begins within.
