How are you showing up?

 
A few years ago, during a particularly challenging segment of a yoga class, the teacher said something that made me smile even while my arms quivered…

“What we’re doing is we’re just showing up for something intense, something challenging, and paying attention to how we show up in that space.
 
That’s all we’re doing here. The toning that’s secondary.
 
This is about how you show up in your life.
 
When it’s challenging when it’s intense when it’s difficult when it’s scary how do you show up?”

 
How you do one thing is how you do everything.

How you show up on your mat, is how you show up in life.

When it gets hard when it gets challenging when it gets intense…

Do you quit?

Do you half-ass it?
 

Or do you breathe, refocus, and give it all you’ve got?

 
In that moment, when your muscles are shaking and your mind is telling you can’t do anymore … what do you do?

When your business stalls and sales aren’t coming in and expenses are increasing and your mind is telling you that you’re never going to make it … what do you do?

When facing a disagreement that feels like it could escalate rapidly and dramatically, and you can’t see their perspective … what do you do?
 

When it’s hard…
When it gets challenging…
When things are difficult…
When it gets intense…

How do you show up?

 
You get to choose how you show up. It’s your choice.

Breathe.
Refocus.
Connect with your Most Abundant Self.
Choose how you’re going to show up.

And always…

Remember, you absolutely can Love Your Life and Live Your Dreams. It all begins within.
